What is Ditto?
Ditto is an extension to the standard windows clipboard. It saves each item placed on the clipboard, allowing the user access to any of those items at a later time. Ditto also allows the user to save any type of information that can be put on the clipboard, text, images, html, or custom formats. Features include having an easy-to-use interface. Its search and paste feature can copy previous entries. The user can keep multiple computers’ clipboards in sync. Data is also encrypted when sent over the network. This program can be accessed from any tray icon, or global hot key.
Other features include being able to select an entry by double clicking, entering a certain key, or by drag-dropping. The user can paste into any window that accepts standard copy/paste entries. Thumbnails of copied images in the list are displayed. It contains full Unicode support, and also displays foreign characters. It has UTF-8 support for language files, and can create files in any language. This program uses a sqlite database, and saves any type of information that can be put on the clipboard.
