What is Dexpot?
Dexpot is a virtual desktop software that performs the basic functions of its type of software; additional work spaces for windows as well as additional icons and the ability to switch between virtual desktops using a keystroke or a mouse; hotkeys included. Dexpot also has some added functionality such as user-friendly user interface, small memory footprint, customizable settings, and free for private use. There are also some other features in the software: windows catalogue button, used for scrolling open windows four at a time; desktop manager; full-screen preview that shows all four desktops grouped together; a configuration wizard for all four different look setup; screensaver, background, and resolution settings support; startup command; password protection; a rule wizard for setting up conditions, actions, and exclusions; and many more others. Its use caters to the demand for different desktop at once on a single system unit especially since Dextop has a maximum of 20 monitor workspace. Recently added features also include combining same-sized monitors in full screen preview, restoring desktop background on exit, and a hotkey; restore last minimized window to tray.
Dexpot runs on Windows systems; Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Vista, and Windows XP. The software also includes plug-ins such as desktop slide show, wallpaper clock, 3D animations, windows 7 taskbar with added features, and others.
