Desktop-Reminder is a calendar and planner utility for Windows operating systems. Equipped with an option for automatically starting upon system boot, a Microsoft Office-like design, and a desktop alarm system for reminders, the program sports all the expected functionalities of modern calendar programs. The user starts off with a 12-month calendar on which he can mark out tasks, events, and other notes. He can set the program to alert him to an impending event or task as early as months ahead of the event’s actual date (useful for truly urgent or “large” tasks). He can also create recurring tasks if required (useful for keeping up with monthly payments, for example).
Other features of the program would be the ability to import events and to-do lists from ICS files. It is also possible to select a different time format for user comfort and to category to-do/task items, e.g. users can classify an item as relating to business. Furthermore, there are mini-icons that can be used for quick categorization and labeling, e.g. a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark in the middle indicates that a task is urgent, making it easy to see task types at a glance.
Our users primarily use Desktop-Reminder to open these file types:
File.org aims to be the go-to resource for file type- and related software information. We spend countless hours researching various file formats and software that can open, convert, create or otherwise work with those files.
If you have additional information about which types of files Desktop-Reminder can process, please do get in touch - we would love hearing from you.
