The Autodesk’s Design, Surface and Automotive are software programs under the Alias label that is used for Digital Prototyping which help the user in creating designs, technical surfacing, visual communication and reverse engineering. This software also has various features for sketching.
These software programs all have features for product modeling and 3D sculpting. These also allow for data workflow scanning except for the Alias Surface software. Both the Alias Surface and Alias Automotive programs support an interactive visualization of products, annotation tools and data exchanges in data which are fairly reliable. The Alias Design software is helpful in industrial designs and consumer products while the Alias Automotive and Alias Surface are both for automotive and industrial designing.
The Alias Surface is a special software in itself creating 3D models that are class A in quality, plus it has an automated surface creator and editor feature which lets the user create and edit surfaces in a precise manner. Hybrid geometry by allowing NURBS and polygons to coexist and its multi-surface Fillet tool are also some of its unique features. Its new releases also modified the alignment tools for NURBS to Bezier.
File.org aims to be the go-to resource for file type- and related software information. We spend countless hours researching various file formats and software that can open, convert, create or otherwise work with those files.
If you have additional information about which types of files Design, Surface and Automotive can process, please do get in touch - we would love hearing from you.
