What is DataLoad?

DataLoad is a data entry tool developed by JD Stuart Ltd, based in the United Kingdom, and specifically designed to be friendly for non-technical users who wish to load (hence its name) data to ERP and CRM systems, particularly for the Oracle E-Business Suite line of products. DataLoad is offered in two versions: the Classic, and the Professional Editions. DataLoad Classic is totally free and has no limitations, but Professional has considerably more features and is meant to be used for larger enterprises that handle more records and data than those that Classic can accurately manage. DataLoad claims that it is used in nearly 100 countries worldwide, and downloaded at a rate in excess of 10,000 a month.

Unlike other data entry and data migration suites, DataLoad is much simpler, allowing its users (even those of non-technical nature) to configure and load various data into a system. DataLoad is recommended for dealing with Oracle’s products, and supports Unicode characters, allowing it to run and display a variety of languages on all PC platforms.
