What is CX-Motion?
CX-Motion comes from OMRON Electronics and is distributed to users of the company’s products—specifically, the OMRON Motion Control units. Using the program, the user can program these units in G code, monitor their performance, and set unit parameters, whether they are working with the system on-line or off. CX-Motion is thus one of the company’s unit configuring applications and is found in the CX-One set of tools from OMRON.
CX-Motion, specifically CX-MOTION-MCH, is compatible only with Windows operating systems. To be precise, it can only be installed on systems that are running Windows 7, Windows 2000, Windows Vista, or Windows XP.
