Canopus ProCoder
If you are looking for Canopus ProCoder, you have come to the right place. We explain what Canopus ProCoder is and point you to the official download.
What is Canopus ProCoder?
ProCoder is a type of transcoding and video encoding software. It was the brainchild of the Canopus Corporation, now known as the Thomson SA. Users can take advantage of the transcoding application of Canopus ProCoder especially when they need to process their videos into different formats, or own various files that they need to encode automatically into a single format.
The source video is initially imported inside the application, then the encoding settings are configured for each of the above situations. This needed some careful thinking, but even a beginner will be able to set up 20 encoding templates in just one hour. ProCoder exposes all of its complicated options to the user, including the ability to switch the GOP for MPEG-2. '
