Bitvise SSH Client

If you are looking for Bitvise SSH Client, you have come to the right place. We explain what Bitvise SSH Client is and point you to the official download.

What is Bitvise SSH Client?

The Bitvise SSH Client is a graphical SFTP client. Its supported platforms include desktop and server versions of Windows, starting with Windows 2000 in 2012. The Bitvise SSH client is compatible with both 32 bit and 64 bit versions of Windows.

It has a terminal emulation and supports bvterm, xterm, and vt100 protocols. It supports the RSA and DSA public key authentication with broad user keypair management. It has SSH forwarding capabilities, which includes dynamic forwarding through the HTTP CONNECT proxy. If the user is connecting the Bitvise SSH Client to a GSSAPI-enabled SSH server in a Windows domain, then the Kerberos 5 will perform the server and user authentication. There is no need for a manual host key verification, or management of user passwords to public keys. The user should tell the SSH client which server to connect to. It will connect automatically if it's a Bitvise SSH Server, or another server with compatibility support for GSSAPI.
