AutoCAD Plant 3D

If you are looking for AutoCAD Plant 3D, you have come to the right place. We explain what AutoCAD Plant 3D is and point you to the official download.

What is AutoCAD Plant 3D?

The AutoCAD Plant 3D program is used to design process plants. It covers the modeling and documentations aspects of the design process as well and provides users with a comprehensive solution for the associated aspects of the process that demand reporting, e.g. isometric and orthographic testing data for plant models.

The software’s interface has been optimized for plant designers working on 3D graphics. It sports the classic Windows-style ribbon at the top and supports tabbed images for better productivity. Users also get a Project Manager at the left of the main window that lets them see their files in tree form. Specification files are directly accessible from the main window, as are multiple standard catalogs that they will need to consult when drawing up their projects’ requirements. Specifications files can also be imported if necessary. Components and pipelines can be modeled manually or—for faster workflow—using the program’s semi-automation features. The standard equipment gallery can be customized too. The software also supports data querying and manipulation for reporting purposes, allows users to create professional construction documents, and can be integrated with AutoCAD P&ID technology.
