What is AudioLabel?
AudioLabel refers to the AudioLabel Cover Maker, a program for disc label design and printing. The program is capable of creating labels for just about any type of disc storage medium, and is also equipped with LightScribe compatibility. Layouts are generally freeform, with the user describing his preferred layout through a WYSIWYG design editor where he can drag and drop elements at will, including text and images. It has an option for automatically arranging and formatting text too, however.
The software is capable of leveraging either embedded disc metadata or the data on the FreeDB site (this requires the user to be online) to perform autofill for track information on labels or covers. Users creating labels for audio CDs can use a dedicated option to make the software read the tracks’ ID3 tags and other information by itself: this spares the user the effort of having to do manual info entry.
The program supports direct disc printers, and has a multitude of label templates corresponding to the labels sold by the most common brands. All templates are configurable, so users are able to use even less common label papers.
