Astrotite

If you are looking for Astrotite, you have come to the right place. We explain what Astrotite is and point you to the official download.

What is Astrotite?

Fantiusen Software’s Astrotite is an archive management utility. The tool can compress files into archives to save space and can also extract files (decompress them) from existing archives. Archived file formats are ZIP, RAR, GZ, ISO, TAR, TGZ, and BZ2. Compression ratios are high for the program, resulting in greater storage efficiency, and users can open archives with the program with a view to editing their contents—by deleting certain files within an archive, for example. Furthermore, the program includes repair tools for fixing archives.

Astrotite is also equipped with tools for securing archives and their contents. For instance, archives can be password-protected to ensure that no one without the right to access them can see their files. The program even supports secondary passwords for an added layer of security. It can encrypt archives and can also render them hidden, converting them into invisible folders so that users who do not know their precise location (to type into the Explorer address bar) would not even be able to see them. The program is a Windows application, compatible with Windows 7, Vista, XP, 2003, 2000, NT, and 98.
