Vectric’s Aspire software is typically used to control CNC carving machines to produce 3D panels. These panels can have various uses, but are most often used for signage or decorative purposes. The program packs 3D design tools that allow the user to break down complex design ideas into 2D and 3D toolpaths as well as individual shapes for easy virtual assembly. 2D vector drawing tools make it possible too to manipulate base designs without having to redo each component afterwards. Furthermore, users can simply create their designs on other software and import it into Aspire for final editing or polishing: importable file formats include AI, DWG, DXF, PDF, and EPS—all of which may be used as export file formats as well. Other importable formats are V3M, 3DCLIP, VRML and OBJ.
Aspire gives users photorealistic 3D previewing as well with the help of a 3D graphics engine and large texture/material library that can be used to simulate the look of the finished product. Also bundled into the program is an extensive user manual as well as more than 35 hours of video tutorials for new users.
File.org aims to be the go-to resource for file type- and related software information. We spend countless hours researching various file formats and software that can open, convert, create or otherwise work with those files.
If you have additional information about which types of files Aspire can process, please do get in touch - we would love hearing from you.
