What is Anquet Maps?
The Anquet Maps software is an alias for the Outdoor Map Navigator (OMN), a utility that can be installed on either PCs or smartphones. The software gives users a platform for searching for, buying and viewing maps from the Anquet Maps online database. Users can synchronize their free Anquet Cloud storage accounts with it and store all of their purchased or downloaded maps there, then simply synchronize the program with their storage to ensure they have access to their maps when needed (even, in fact, when they are working offline).
OMN is configurable in various ways, including in terms of measurement localization: users can set it to display maps using imperial or metric measurements and can also select the types of grid references used. Furthermore, it supports selection of either right-handed or left-handed modes. It has multiple zoom levels for map viewing, the ability to seamlessly show map panels when scrolled, and compatibility with HD ordnance survey map data.
The professional version of the program also supports map printing at various scales and allows users to make use of split screen technology as well as 3D landscaping.
