AK-Player is software that installs a media player on a Windows-enabled computer. This is a free media player that has two distinct functions: play media files and download videos from the Internet.
Every time the user utilizes the program to play a video file streamed from video-sharing websites such as YouTube, the program automatically saves the file to a temporary folder on the computer. When the user wants to watch the same video again, the player scans all computer folders and directories to locate the file. Once it has been located, it will begin to play the file. This being said, the player allows for playback of videos streamed from the Internet even when the computer is offline.
The player also recognizes a wide selection of video formats, which means that it is able to play various video files regardless of format or file extension. Apart from playing video files, the program is also capable of playing audio files, and displaying image files accessed by the user.
Also, the program has the capability to play several video files at the same time, each in their own window.
Our users primarily use AK-Player to open these file types:
File.org aims to be the go-to resource for file type- and related software information. We spend countless hours researching various file formats and software that can open, convert, create or otherwise work with those files.
If you have additional information about which types of files AK-Player can process, please do get in touch - we would love hearing from you.
