Adobe Photoshop Album functions as a photo organizer and editor, where the user is given several options for managing their digital photos, whether these are already stored on the computer or these are still in the user’s digital imaging device, ready to be copied onto the user’s PC.
From the user interface, the user can click on the File tab on the menu bar to acquire photos through the Get Photos option, from the drop down menu. With Get Photos, the user is provided with several options: Get Photos from camera, mobile phone, card reader, scanner, files and folders or from the Favorite folder. User may also acquire photos through the search option (By searching link).
Also from the File menu, users may burn photos to CD, attach photos to email or send photos to mobile phone. With email attachment, the program can automatically convert photos in email size so these can be easily attached to the message.
Users may view photos in a slide presentation, organize photos by date and modify display settings, i.e. allow photos to resize, show file names in details or determine measurement units (inches or centimeters/millimeters).
