ACD/3D

If you are looking for ACD/3D, you have come to the right place. We explain what ACD/3D is and point you to the official download.

What is ACD/3D?

ACD/3D Viewer lets its users draw some structures in 2D, and then quickly obtain their 3D counterparts in a full color display. This program is a feature of the ACD/ChemSketch Commercial and Freeware.

ACD/3D Viewer can modify 3D models that have both 3D and 2D rotations. Users will also be able to change styles, colors, and resize their models. They can display a 3D structure as a stick, a sphere, a disk, or a ball-and-stick, and include an overlay of small dots that approximates the van der Waals radius of the solid 3D structure. Users will be able to measure and change the bond angles, torsion angles, and bond lengths, and optimize the structure through the use of a 3D CHARMM-type of force field. ACD/3D Viewer can view 3D structures in perspective, make some animated GIF files, and export some 3D models to other geometry optimization programs. ACD/ChemSketch is an app which plans to help users draw some chemical structures and diagrams with least efforts. This program can be used by teachers, students, or professionals that need to use chemical schematics for presentations or reports.
