What is Corel Presentations?

Corel Presentations is part of the WordPerfect Office Suite by Corel Corporation. The Office Suite includes a word processor (WordPerfect), spreadsheet application (Quattro Pro), a digital notebook (WordPerfect Lightning), a Web browser (Mozilla Firefox), a document manager (Nuance PaperPort), and email client (Mozilla Thunderbird). Corel Presentations is the slideshow creator of the suite.

The User Interface provides a toolbar that allow the user quick access to the various functions of the application. The Standard Toolbar includes buttons for creating or opening a presentation file, saving or printing the slides; and configuring the layout of the slides through the Master Gallery button.

The Property Bar provides the user with options to change the font style, color, size as well as modify its appearance through Bold, Italics or Underline; and the alignment of the texts: Left, Right, Center or Auto. The Slide Show/Drawing Palette includes a variety of shapes, fill patterns, and shape borders; while the Slide Sorter tab provides a thumbnail view of the slides; and the QuickPlay button allows the user to preview the slide show.
