If you are looking for AspenPlus, you have come to the right place. We explain what AspenPlus is and point you to the official download.

What is AspenPlus?

AspenPlus is a chemical process simulator from Aspen Tech. Used by various academic institutions, the software lends itself to myriad projects involved in chemical engineering. It can perform in-depth simulations and nearly all related functions of a particular chemical task. For instance, a user can not only rely on it to generate a simulation of a specific reaction scenario but can also use it to design a reactor as well as create predictions of the results. Since its scenarios are scalable from the micro-level to the plant-sized (industrial) level, it has also received a fair share of popularity in chemical industry.

Users get to access a wide range of utilities for constructing scenarios and designs with the software, and are also assured of currency in their tool-sets given that the program is updated and refined regularly. It has an enormous property database, which means nearly every industry will find the resources it needs for chemical process simulation on the software. Users also get the ability to do pinch analysis, equipment design, and economic assessments of their processes. Finally, there is a tool in it that allows the user to compare simulated/modeled and real-time plant performance.
