What is XGPlayer Application?

XGPlayer Application is included in the software S-YXG50 SoftSynthesizer. The software is part of the suite of programs included in the Yamaha UW500 Personal Studio device. S-YXG50 SoftSynthesizer functions as a virtual synthesizer that allows the user to play MIDI sounds. The user may play along with the tracks being played in the background.

The synthesizer may be customized to adapt to the computer’s system performance, for enhanced and seamless playback. The Setup option is provided with the synthesizer software. Additional information on how to properly setup the virtual synthesizer to match system performance is provided in the Help section of the software.

XGPlayer application enables the SofySynthesizer software to play the MIDI sounds. The application can be accessed by right-clicking on the software icon located on the Windows taskbar, or through the Start menu.

The application provides control buttons for selecting the next track, going back to the previous track, selecting final song, selecting top song, rewind, fast forward, pause and playback. There is also a Master Volume control, tempo control, and key control. CPU usage rate is displayed on the player as well.
