Windows Live Photo Gallery is a photo viewer and editor from Microsoft. The program also functions as a media file manager in that users can organize their photos and videos by date and time as captured by the media device, or by tags and captions added by the user.
Photos can be edited by double-clicking on the pictures, which will open the adjustment options. Users can select auto adjust to automatically enhance the photos. Other adjustment options displayed on the editing window are crop, red eye, retouch, straighten, noise reduction, color, exposure and fine tune. Under Fine Tune, users can adjust color temperature, tint and saturation.
Photo Fuse is a tool that allows the user to combine parts of similar photos, taking only the best parts to create a single photo. For instance, a person may look better in another photo than the one that you are editing. You can get the image of the person and integrate it into the other photo.
Photo stitching is also provided to allow the user to create a panorama of several shots taken from a single scene.
