What is Windows CleanUp?

Windows CleanUp is a system utility tool for Windows computers (as is obvious from the name) developed by Steven Gould, an independent software developer. Windowws CleanUp is similar to the more popular and equally lightweight CCleaner (which stands for crap cleaner), in that it erases clutter from your computer in a single click. The way it does this, as with most cleanup tools for the Microsoft Windows system, is that eliminates temporary files that may be created as you browse the Internet, or use certain applications that create such files (for example, office and productivity software). You can also use Windows CleanUp to quickly empty your Recycle Bin, wipe free space from your hard disk, and protect your privacy online by deleting cookies and browsing cache from your browser. Another feature of the Windows CleanUp application is the secure delete method, in which it will completely wipe a certain file or folder (or groups of such) via a Department of Defense process that will make them irretrievable by any means, even using a file recovery tools. All of this makes Windows CleanUp a fast alternative to such applications and will make your computer run faster and smoother in less than a minute.
