VIO Player

If you are looking for VIO Player, you have come to the right place. We explain what VIO Player is and point you to the official download.

What is VIO Player?

VIO Player is a free media player that is capable of handling popular video formats. The player serves as a standalone video player for Windows PCs. It recognizes video files with the following extensions: AVI, MPEG, MKV, MP4, WMV and MOV. The user can also play videos downloaded from the Internet, particularly those rendered in the Flash format (FLV).

It supports the H.264 video compression format, which means that it is fully capable of playing high definition videos as well. The user interface provides two control buttons for video playback: Stop/Pause and Play. A seeker/slider is also provided, alongside with volume control and a button for opening the video in full screen mode.

Video files can be acquired through the Open button located at the top left corner of the interface. Beside the Open button, the title of the video and its corresponding format are displayed.

Before installation, the user will be prompted that an installer (InstallQ) will download to manage the player’s installation. The installer may prompt the user about additional software that they may want to install. Installation of additional software offered through InstallQ is optional. InstallQ does not stay on the system, but rather, uninstalls once the player has been successfully installed on the computer.
