If you are looking for VideoStage, you have come to the right place. We explain what VideoStage is and point you to the official download.
What is VideoStage?
Dell’s VideoStage is part of a multimedia suite, called “Stage”, developed by third-party developer partners that create OEM content for their computers; VideoStage is developed by Cyberlink. The Dell Stage suite is composed of four discrete elements – PhotoStage, VideoStage, MusicStage, and SyncUP – each of which are developed by the leading multimedia software giants in the industry, such as Cyberlink and Nero. The Stage suite is available in select Dell units and tablets, and while there are slight differences in looks depending on the unit they have the same capabilities and features. All Stage programs benefit from Stage’s innate ability to stream these multimedia content to any compatible device in your home network, such as another computer or a consumer electronic device (like an HDTV).
Cyberlink’s VideoStage is an exclusive application for select Dell computers and is an integral component of the Stage suite. With VideoStage, a user can organize and maintain their collection of videos and podcasts, stream these through the interface of the program itself, and even download and watch movies from the CinemaNow service. VideoStage also allows for local playback of movies, acting as a stand-alone media player, and like MusicStage can organize and create playlists.
