Video Disc Copier
What is Video Disc Copier?
Sony is known with lots of software products useful for computer users for both home and office applications. One of the products known for its functional features is the Video Disc Copier. This is a program that functions to primarily copy discs made from a Handycam, which is a disc recording system, or the Picture Motion Browser.
When copying discs created from a Handycam, the format of files has to be AVCHD but there’s an option to convert it to make DVDs. However, AVCHD files can only run in players that are compatible with this format. This means this AVCHD file format does not work with any DVD player or recorder as either of them isn’t compatible with the format. That’s when you use this software to make a copy of a DVD disc from an AVCHD format disc to be able to run in any DVD players and recorders. For copying, you have these options: using a DVD drive on a computer, or a Handycam disc recording system. Just remember that there’s no way to copy any disc if the file size stored or written on the disc (original source) is larger than the new disc space to.
