TUGZip is a software program developed by Christian Kindahl that performs archiving tasks for the user. This is a free archiving utility that is able to compress individual files or create archives in formats such as ZIP, ZOO, ACE, DEB, TAR, SQX, GZ, IMP, CAR, 7-ZIP, RAR, LHA, CPIO, RPM, LIB, BZ2, TGZ, GCA and TBZ.
The user can configure the program in several ways. The general configuration options fall into three categories: Appearance (for Explorer View, Archive View and GUI), Miscellaneous (for E-mail, Extraction, Language, File List Printing, Plugins, Compression and Web Update), and System (for Associations, Folders and Applications).
Under the General Appearance Settings, users can configure the columns, i.e. modified, size, ratio, packed, CRC, method, system, comment, attributes and path; and View Style: Explorer style, Classic style or Combined style.
The program likewise features a self-extractor utility, where the user is able to create self-extracting archives based on any of the following modules: standard, self-extracting with list view or self-extracting archiver for software installation.
Finally, the software also allows the user to repair damaged ZIP and SQX archives.

File.org aims to be the go-to resource for file type- and related software information. We spend countless hours researching various file formats and software that can open, convert, create or otherwise work with those files.
If you have additional information about which types of files TUGZip can process, please do get in touch - we would love hearing from you.
