Textease Studio CT is a suite of educational programs by RM Software (formerly from Softease), which is comprised of nine different core modules each of which performs a specific task. It is based from the TextEase word processor and desktop publishing engine and is meant to be an educational tool for young students and pupils and children.
The Studio CT’s nine modules take the form of toolbars that can be drag and dropped into the main window, and are analogous to more complex office productivity suites. These are the Publisher CT (for desktop publishing), Movies CT (movie maker), Presenter CT (for slideshow presentations similar to PowerPoint), Draw CT (vector graphics editing tool), Database CT (a simplified database software analogous to Access), Turtle CT (on-screen turtle graphics), Spreadsheet CT (spreadsheets), Paint CT (analogous to Windows Paint), and Branch CT (for sorting, classification, and organizational lessons). Each of these modules when working in concert with the Textease Studio CT offer a simple introduction to more complex operations in full-featured commercial office products.
Each of the modules can also be purchased separately, although the Studio CT comes with extras such as cliparts, photos, videos, and audio.
