What is TerraExplorer Application?
TerraExplorer Application is part of the software TerraExplorer, also known as TerraExplorer View, which allows the user to view, analyze and navigate through a 3D-rendered virtual environment. The software is part of the software suite TerraExplorer, which includes TerraExplorer Plus and TerraExplorer Pro.
With the TerraExplorer Application, the user can view 3D terra environments through the program’s integrated tools for aerial and satellite viewing and terrain elevation. Developed by Skyline Software Systems, Inc. the program allows for the interactive viewing of terrains, where the user can zoom in on a specific area for a more detailed look, or navigate through the terrain to see it from different angles.
The software works as a viewer for 3D environments created through TerraExplorer Pro and TerraBuilder, which are software programs used to create terrain data and terrain overlays.
TerraExplorer also enables the user to measure distances from a horizontal, vertical or aerial angle. It also provides tools that allow the user to perform an analysis of the terrain such as flood or volume analysis.
This is paid software that runs on Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7.
