What is Sweet Home 3D version?

Sweet Home 3D is a free interior design program. It lets users plan out interior designs and visualize them through drawing, painting, and other graphics rendering tools. The program is geared towards casual users instead of professionals, and thus has a simple graphical user interface designed for users to intuitively pick up the visualization process. Even so, it is not short of tools comparable to professional CAD and interior design software.

Users can import their blueprints directly to the program to make structure generation faster. They can draw walls manually for custom structures. Various properties of the structure, including wall thickness, height, surface textures and colors can all be edited, and nearly all elements can also be resized, from doors to windows. Furniture models are provided in a library, although users can also import them from other programs. Multilevel structures are supported, as are exclusively 2D visualizations (if the user does not have the hardware for 3D rendering). Users can also insert text and other data into their graphics for reference or explanation.

The software comes in both a downloadable (installing) form as well as a web-based tool that can be accessed via web browser.
