Shareaza Development Team has produced and published a Peer-to-peer file sharing called Shareaza. It is a freeware which was first launched in 2000 and is available in 30 languages including French, Spanish, German, and English. Shareaza runs under Microsoft Windows platform and supports HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, eDonkey, Gnutella, Gnutella2, and BitTorrent.
Shareaza muddles its files for every network and distributes those chop values on Gnutella2 (G2), which allows a particular file to be downloaded from various networks right away. It makes use of its G2 network to locate more sources for torrents. Shareaza provides basic content filters including discretionary adult pornography and enforced child pornography. Shareaza also offers security filter which can be extended with either IP addresses or user-defined keywords. Shareaza client is highly customizable. Its graphical user interface (GUI) can be altered with new buttons, images, fonts, colors, etc.
Shareaza comes with three different user modes: the normal mode which provides a clean, orderly GUI; the power mode which provides access to both network and advanced settings; and the windowed mode which displays multiple tabs containing different controls about the things happening.
Our users primarily use Shareaza to open these file types:
File.org aims to be the go-to resource for file type- and related software information. We spend countless hours researching various file formats and software that can open, convert, create or otherwise work with those files.
If you have additional information about which types of files Shareaza can process, please do get in touch - we would love hearing from you.
