What is RPG MAKER VX Ace Lite?
RPG Maker VX Ace Lite is a game authoring system designed for role-playing game developers. The program is basically a bundle of tools meant for game design, including a map creation utility and an extensive database for characters, skills, foes, and game accessories and weapons. There is an override-able autoshading feature in the map creator, support for up to 999 distinct tile sets to every project, region ID layering to help users specify precise encounter rates on particular sections of their maps, an advanced features system intended to help users achieve better customization of game objects and characters, and a large list of predefined RPG sprites.
Users are also able to create their own sprites using the game’s character generator. They can add game events such as plot videos. The program also works with a number of consumer-authored extensions and resources available for free on the Web. It is a Windows program and is compatible with Vista, 7, and XP (either 32-bit or 64-bit for all operating systems). Users can export games made from it as self-executing EXE files that are similarly compatible with Windows computers.
