If you are looking for Registry Helper, you have come to the right place. We explain what Registry Helper is and point you to the official download.
What is Registry Helper?
Registry Helper is a small, unobtrusive tool, developed by SafeApp, that basically cleans up the invalid or outdated entries in the Windows registry, entries which make it bloated and ultimately crash-prone. Invalid registry entries also slow down the user’s PC greatly, since Windows would waste valuable time and resources looking up and matching erroneous entries on the registry, which is a futile exercise since some invalid entries are usually made up of uninstalled programs (or programs that were not uninstalled properly). Sometimes, these entries are so inimical to the way Windows runs that when it checks the registry for them, it crashes. SafeApp’s Registry Helper is specifically made to target empty registry entries, or those pointing incorrectly, and fix them.
Why is the Registry so important? The Windows Registry is the master logbook, or database, of how programs and files interact with one another and the user, and how it all interfaces; how they function, and how they use other programs (if any), are all stated in the registry. However, as time goes by and you repeatedly install, uninstall, and modify programs and files, some information in the registry gets outdated or invalid, and would thus require cleaning and maintenance to keep the PC in tip-top shape.
