If you are looking for Recovery Management, you have come to the right place. We explain what Recovery Management is and point you to the official download.
What is Recovery Management?
The Acer eRecovery Management is a simple tool preloaded in all Acer desktops and laptops, and is part of the Acer suite of programs designed to help new users and beginners to start using their Acer computer in an effective manner. The eRecovery Management is one of those, and is probably one of the best and most useful software packaged with Acer units; while most of these software are redundant, useless, and typically bloatware (unnecessary programs that only clutter your hard disk), the eRecovery Management enables users to create a backup of their computer at a certain point in time and restore to that saved image in case of a viral attack or complete system failure.
The eRecovery Management is similar in style and purpose to Windows’ own built-in System Restore service, but while the System Restore service only creates a backup on the disk itself, the eRecovery Management tool of Acer creates a backup also on other removable devices, such as on optical discs.
It is optimal that both System Restore and the eRecovery Management not run at the same time, as either may overwrite each other. The eRecovery Management also allows for incremental backups to save space.
