What is Photo Gallery?
Photo Gallery is a program from Van Loo Software that provides the user with a tool for managing their photos. The software was designed to run on all versions of Windows operating systems, including older versions of the OS starting with Windows 95; and the newest version of it, which is Windows 8. In order to install the software on Windows Vista, and Windows 7 and 8, the user has to log-on to the Administrator account of the machine.
The software allows the user to create a limitless number of albums for photo storage. Users can transfer photo files to and from the different albums, store image files of various formats and sizes, and create a slideshow presentation of their photos. A rotate tool is also included to allow the user to render photos in an upright position.
A portable version of the software is also available, the Photo Gallery – Portable edition. It carries the same functionalities as the full version. Photo Gallery is offered as freeware for all Windows users.
