What is PDFlite?
PDFlite is an open source and free PDF converter and reader. It is an expansion of the SumatraPDF project. You can convert images and documents to PDF files and your jpg to PDF format. You can view your PDF files with functions such as print, search and zoom. It employs minimalism to let you focus on your document or work more than the style or design of your viewer. It is available in multiple languages such as French, Chinese, Spanish, English, Japanese, Russian, Dutch and more.
You can convert your file to PDF in three steps: Load the file to be converted. Go to File and select Print. Choose PDFlite as your printer. Your new PDF file is saved on the same folder as your original file unless you choose another location while printing. You can save your PDF file to Favorites through the Favorites tab. Choose Add to Favorites then name your PDF.
You can convert formats such as doc, html [Webpage], pub [Publisher], JPEG, XPS, GIF, TIF, PNG, TIFF, iText, CHM to PDF. It supports PDF, DjVU, CBR, CBZ and XPS on Windows. It can read and open on a browser plug-in files such as PDF documents, comic book CBR files and comic book archive CBZ file and XPS documents. It provides a Web browser extension that can view and read PDF on Google Chrome, Safari and FireFox for Windows versions only.
