What is Paintgraphic2?

Fanfare’s Paintgraphic2 is an application for advanced image editing designed for the Japanese market: the operating systems that can run the application are Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7.

Paintgraphic2 is compatible with both AdobeRGB and CMYK color profiles. It offers special tools for character editing and layer creation. Like most other image editors, it also offers myriad editing data tools that help users keep track of what they are doing, from coordinate and color info blocks and navigators to histograms. Layers are displayed in tree style in the layers window.

Brushes can be modified to suit the user’s needs on the program, with transformation options including the rotation and shape of a brush. Individual toolbox sections can be minimized or maximized to fit better on the user’s screen, and a customizable toolbar allows users to register their most-used tools to display on it for easy access—the toolbar can be floated on the screen and placed wherever the user desires. Paintgraphic2 also has multiple selection tools, path functions that support concatenation (linking), and menus for Editing, Display, Filter, Layers, and Selection. There is also a Help file.
