What is MOX Performance Editor?
MOX Performance Editor is a software program developed by John Melas for the MOX synthesizer/workstation. The software features a selection of editing tools that enable the user to edit parameters of performance parts and arpeggiators, a search tool for finding patches, the capability to copy and paste functions, a utility for copying voice to and from a segment of the performance with all parameters intact, and a phrase recorder, which allows the user to record phrases and then listen to these continuously via looping.
Parameter editing allows the user to control the following: Volume, Pan, Master Effect, ARP, Reverb, Cutoff, Swing, Chorus, Reso and Tempo. The editing panels also provide options for the following: equalizer, pitch, filter, amp, ranges and modes.
The MOX Performance Editor software can be purchased as a standalone product or as part of an editing pack (Complete Pack or Performer Pack). The Complete pack editing suite for MOX synthesizers generally includes the Total Librarian software plus all types of editors. In the case of the Performer Pack suite, it includes Total Librarian plus two types of editors: performance Editor and Master Editor.
