What is Melody Assistant - Windows -s?

Melody Assistant is a music writing software that is specifically used for Windows-based systems. It was developed by Myriad for ten years before it was officially released to the public. The software has other basic functionalities which include rendering and printing of the created music pieces. The software is also intended to be used by students, professionals, and music enthusiasts.

Melody Assistant lets users explore and utilize a range of musical symbols that can be integrated in any music editing and scoring. The musical symbols that come with the software also include Gregorian notrations and tablatures. The scoring input produced using the software can be performed with the use of a keyboard, MIDI device, or with a mouse. It is also developed using a software synthesizer called the SoftSynth. This synthesizer is responsible for producing output even with the use of simple soundcards.

Melody Assistant also supports a wide range of file formats including MIDI, MP3, AIFF, OGG, and TAB. It also comes with demo videos and tutorials to help users get used to the functionalities of the software. It runs on Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux platforms.
