Lhaplus is a software program that serves as a compression and decompression tool for users with Windows-based computer systems. The software was created by Schezo, and designed to compress and decompress files rendered in more than twenty formats.
The following formats are recognized by the software, and can compress or decompress these: B64, BH, BZIP2, CAB, GZ, LZH, TAR, TAZ, TBZ, ZIP and EXE. In addition, the program is also able to compress files into the following archive formats: ACE, ARC, ARJ, LZS, MIME, RAR, TGZ, UUE, XXE, Z, 7Z and ZOO.
Functions of the software can be launched by opening the program through the desktop icon that displays after installation. The user can compress or decompress archives by dragging the files and dropping these onto the compression/extraction window on the user interface. Additionally, the user can also compress or decompress archives by right-clicking on the file, and then selecting the function from the menu which the user wishes to utilize.
Lhaplus, pronounced as “Laplace,” is provided to all Windows users as freeware.
