Learn2 Player

If you are looking for Learn2 Player, you have come to the right place. We explain what Learn2 Player is and point you to the official download.

What is Learn2 Player?

Learn2 Player is part of an AOL software package, usually installed with new installations of AIM (AOL Instant Messenger) or in computers with preloaded AIM software. Learn2 Player cannot be downloaded separately, and even if you wanted to, it currently has no website to download it from. In Windows XP, it resides in a folder called Learn2.com nested inside the Program Files folder. What the program does is that it runs special streaming videos called .stm files, which are exclusive file formats from the makers of Learn2 Player. Such videos are made specifically for training purposes, hence the name, and AOL packages it as part of their software bundle to take advantage of tutorials or videos that may use the .stm format. Uninstalling Learn2 Player removes the ability to playback such videos and/or streams.
