If you are looking for Kobo, you have come to the right place. We explain what Kobo is and point you to the official download.

What is Kobo?

Kobo Inc.’s Kobo Desktop App is a software tool that allows easy access to your collection of e-books so you can transfer them directly from your laptop or desktop to the Kobo e-Reader. The Desktop App enables users to find and shop e-books directly from the Kobo e-books store; the e-books will then be downloaded to your computer, and you can then transfer them to your Kobo device as easily as moving a file from one folder to another. The Kobo Desktop App is free and runs on both Windows and Macintosh platforms.

The Kobo Desktop App is not just another e-book shopping tool, however, as it comes replete with features that make it a handy e-book management utility. For example, you can use the Desktop App to actually read the books you’ve downloaded straight on the computer, even without having to transfer it to your Kobo device; it also allows customization of the e-book, such as font, margins, and reading themes, plus a bookmark feature that is persistent across all devices, PC or otherwise. The Desktop App also has a dictionary feature handy so you can look up words, idioms, phrases or unfamiliar terms with ease.
