What is JMP?

JMP is a platform developed by SAS Institute to be used particularly for statistical analysis and data visualization. This program is also referred to as a discovery software and is a tool used by professionals such as research analysts, engineers, technicians, social scientists and the like in exploring and interpreting data for various industry as well as for the government.

This lets you analyze statistical data easily and pinpoint potential problems to address. Graphs can be accessed using external devices such as mobile phones and tablets. Users can also modify, highlight, and add text to these graphs using the integrated Graph Builder in the JP software. New graphs can also be created and data can be extracted and dragged from the other graphs. Switching from one file to another can be performed with simple tap on the screen. File sharing is also possible with this software and can be done using iTune File Sharing or iPad through e-mails.

his statistical workbench comprises tailored applications that are compatible with SAS and lets you access and manage data.
