HWP51 is also known as HAANSOFT HWP 2007. It has had the following name Hancom Office Hanword 2010, or HWP51, HWP65, and HWP55. This software is developed by the Korean company Haansoft Inc. It is also developed by HancomInc (HNC). Hangul, which is also known as Hangul Word Processor or HWP, is a type of proprietary word processing application. Hangul supports the special needs of the Korean written language and has gained use in South Korea.
Hangul saves documents in the HWP format, with the filename known as .hwp. HWP files can be opened by using OpenOffice.org or LibreOffice. Recent versions of Hangul also provide an English user interface that depends on the location settings of the user’s environment. Hangul will support reading and writing of Office Open XML as well as Open Document files in the next version for Windows. Hancom Office 2010 is an innovative product that includes a word processor program, a spreadsheet program, and a presentation program.
