Bandisoft’s Honeyview is an image viewer that supports a wide variety of file formats as well as files stored in compressed archives. This means that users trying to view images in RAR or ZIP files will not need to extract them prior to viewing. The software can thus be used to read digital copies of print media such as comics and Japanese manga, both of which are often found as compressed files.
Photo management is permitted too by the software, which allows users to see GPS data for images with the attribute and copy images to a clipboard or special location for later use. Users may also select the manner in which they view images: they may choose to fill the whole screen or see images in a parallel layout.
The image formats supported by the viewer are PSD, JPG, PNG, BMP, GIF, DDS, JXR, JP2, J2K, WebP, PCX, PNM, TIFF, TGA, PNM, and Sound&Shot. Besides supporting compressed image viewing, it also supports viewing for raw image files, so users can view minimally processed images straight from camera SD cards without having to convert them to formats like JPG or PNG.
Our users primarily use Honeyview to open these file types:
File.org aims to be the go-to resource for file type- and related software information. We spend countless hours researching various file formats and software that can open, convert, create or otherwise work with those files.
If you have additional information about which types of files Honeyview can process, please do get in touch - we would love hearing from you.
