Haali Media Splitter

If you are looking for Haali Media Splitter, you have come to the right place. We explain what Haali Media Splitter is and point you to the official download.

What is Haali Media Splitter?

The Haali Media Splitter is a media container that works with MKV (Matroska video), MPEG-4, M2TS, Ogg Vorbis media (OGM and OGG), MPEG TS and AVI, which can be used to decode and split these files on processing or playback. The Haali Media Splitter also includes a free tool, MKV2VFR, which converts MKV files to files with variable or constant framerate, plus a GDSMux/DSMux, a multiplexing and cutting tool for MKV and M2TS files, alongside other Haali media tools.

The Haali Media Splitter is the core of the Haali initiative of video tools that are meant for various uses. The most famous of the Haali products is the Haali Media Splitter, which is used to split media files (audio and video primarily) into several chunks for various purposes. Other Haali tools are included in the K-Lite Codec Pack as well, including the Media Splitter; all Haali applications are free and open-source. One of the Haali tools is also the Haali Muxer, a multiplexing tool, although recently all such Haali components are packaged into one clean install so you don't have to install them one by one. You can also opt for installing the K-Lite Codec Pack, which contains the Haali tools, plus other codecs and filters as well.
