What is GoToAssist Corporate?
Citrix Online’s GoToAssist is a remote administration tool that lets users, or IT tech support specialists, to access their customer’s computer through the Internet, and use it as he would his own computer. This is very useful for troubleshooting, for example when a customer has approached a technical support team to help them find problems on their computer and yet not possess the technical know-how to do as the tech support agent says. To this end, the GoToAssist software enables the helpdesk and the customer to fix the problem directly, by letting the technical support representative to access their computers remotely and work his hands-on technical magic. Though intended for commercial purposes, it can also be used for personal reasons, such as when you need to help your friend with a computer problem, over the Internet.
GoToAssist features a whole suite of handy tools, such as file transfer, remote diagnostics, and online collaboration with other members of the network. The agent and the customer can also be engaged in a web chat interface and a session chat interface as the fix is being done. Among other features include a reboot and reconnect ability and support for 15 different languages.
