If you are looking for GamesBar, you have come to the right place. We explain what GamesBar is and point you to the official download.

What is GamesBar?

The GamesBar is the browser plugin component of the Oberon Media games, which are published through its in-house publishing firm, I-Play. Using the GamesBar, users and fans of Oberon Media games can search the web or the catalog of I-Play (and other participating companies) for games, and then download and install them all in one convenient location on your browser. Using the GamesBar it is possible to find that single game you’re looking for instead of browsing all the available, preloaded games in Oberon Media’s partner companies, and have instant access to it at any time.

The GamesBar, according to Oberon Media, does not send personally identifiable information (PII) through the Internet, though of course some users are alarmed at it, as they are with most toolbars. Thankfully, the Oberon Media GamesBar can be uninstalled and removed fairly easily, though of course the games it has downloaded in the course of its existence in your browser need to be uninstalled separately.

Oberon Media is a casual games company, which delivers games through its I-Play publishing arm and delivers content through a variety of platforms: mobile devices, computers, interactive TVs, and the like. It has also partnered with huge companies so its games are also preloaded in their units, such as Acer.
