If you are looking for Game Booster, you have come to the right place. We explain what Game Booster is and point you to the official download.
What is Game Booster?
Game Booster from IOBit, makers of such quality programs as the Advanced System Optimizer, is a free utility that enhances your gaming experience on Windows computers. It does this by disabling, or turning off, unnecessary Windows services as you play, giving you a larger memory pool for gaming, which is a crucial aspect of PC gaming; insufficient memory is often the culprit for network lags or high latency, decreased performance, which is critical for action-packed, fast-paced games, and other various errors. Game Booster also features the proprietary "Enhanced 3rd party services detection" technology, which will give you more control over the services that needed to be disabled.
Game Booster also grants the gamer the "pure gaming environment" mode, where only the gaming window is active on the desktop. No other notifications will pop up or alert you when a detected game is running, leaving you free to slaughter or party up with other people online as you wish. Game Booster, like its more powerful parent, the ASO, also comes with a few tweaks, some of which would configure the Windows registry for optimum performance; additionally, it can defrag game files, and you can put a selected game inside a Game Box that the application would automatically optimize when it is launched.
