If you are looking for Fiddler2, you have come to the right place. We explain what Fiddler2 is and point you to the official download.

What is Fiddler2?

Fiddler2 is an HTTP/HTTPS debugging program that captures Web traffic exchange between the user’s machine and the Internet. It is able to capture sessions and requests as well as responses to these requests in real-time.

The program allows for decrypting Web (HTTPS) traffic for debugging Web apps. Under the Tools tab, the user will see a link for Fiddler Options, under this option; HTTPS will display a link for Decrypt HTTPS Traffic. The user may choose to decrypt specific traffic only, i.e. browsers only or non-browsers, remote clients or all processes. Users may likewise capture Web traffic from a remote machine via the “Allow remote computers to connect” option under the Fiddler Options window.

Functions of Fiddler2 can be extended via add-ons, which are available from the Fiddler2 website. The program’s developer, Eric Lawrence and a team of other developers have collaborated to provide additional features to the software: JavaScript Formatter for modifying JavaScript sessions, i.e. Make JavaScript Pretty or Decode Selected Sessions; Syntax Highlighting, Privacy Scanner, Image-Flipper, Content Blocking and Gallery are all add-ons that provides more features to the user.
