Express Dictate

If you are looking for Express Dictate, you have come to the right place. We explain what Express Dictate is and point you to the official download.

What is Express Dictate?

Express Dictate is a computer program from NCH Software that provides the user with a set of applications that will enable them to digitally record dictated notes on their desktops. This digital dictation software allows the user to send the dictated notes to a typist via electronic mail or to another user connected to a network.

The software likewise enables the user to edit dictation recordings, allowing them to insert additional notes into the dictation. There are three options provided to the user, pertaining to editing recordings: insert additional recordings anywhere into the clip, overwrite recordings, or record-at-end.

In addition to recording directly on the computer, the software also recognizes portable dictation devices such as a Dictaphone. This allows the user to dictate notes onto the portable device, and then import the recording to the computer. This feature is available through the “Transfer from Portable Dictaphone/Notetaker” option.

To protect the recordings, the program allows for file encryption. This ensures that dictation sent over the Internet will not be vulnerable to unauthorized access.

Express Dictate is able to run on Windows and Mac OS X machines.
