The eXPert PDF Editor is a software design to perform operations regarding PDF files; viewing, editing, printing, etc. The software enables users to view, navigate, manipulate, mark-up, and save PDF files while still maintaining the integrity of the document. The Pro edition of the software also has the feature of fully editing PDF files without the need to use any external applications. Additional features included in the software are commenting tools, and operational tools such as extract, insert, delete, rotate, re-order pages, etc.
There are main editing features included in the software: viewing and printing PDF files; annotate with comments; PDF file manipulation such as changing document security, merge/append pages from other documents, delete, insert, extract, and re-ordering pages; bookmark editing that has options such as add, edit, format, reposition, and delete bookmarks; full text, image, and vector drawing editing without using external applications in using operations such as create, modify, delete objects, images and vector drawings; and customization on user interface.
In order to run the software, a Windows system is needed; Windows 2000, XP, 2003, Vista, or later. A minimal processing power is needed, such of that of a PC Pentium 233. The software also needs a 128 MB of RAM and a 30 MB of disc space.
